In 2009 the Flow~Joint was invented to quickly create a fence rail to fashion any desired curve and any length desired. The arcs of dimensional lumber were router cut via cnc, then open-air riveted together for strong connections without need for glue. Artisan Hardwood Floors bears this 10'-6" tall Flowfence.

Besides the fence rail, the smooth hand rail in Ipe was designed to lock and pin together from underneath, thus not creating a hole to plug. For the base beam profile, lapping layers of rail were created to stack and rivet a curving beam.
With the inclusion of another long lasting wood named Accoya, a light colored hardwood, the Darius framework was the first Arbor structure designed for Flowbuilt.
The Gothic Arch is inspired by the stone stacked English structure having a staggered coloring. This was produced as a three layer or laminated arch designing the joint configuration in one direction pointing upward.
